The Travel Guide 2: A Day In Monaco

The Travel Guide 2: A Day In Monaco

We very recently took a day trip to Monaco whilst staying in the south of France (of course we took Riviera to the French Riviera).

Here is how it went:

We walked up the stairs to the palace which although tiring, with amazing views over Monaco and pretty streets, it was definitely worth it.

We were lucky enough to visit a few weeks before the F1 race weekend so if you are an F1 fan you will love walking around the track, seeing the paddock and standing on the grid.

Another one you can't miss is seeing the casino. Surrounded by some of the most expensive super cars, there is a lovely restaurant where you can enjoy a cocktail in the sun.

After extensive research and having the issue of trying to narrow it down to just two restaurants we finally settled on Mozza and Moshi Moshi and here is what we thought:

Mozza

What attracted us to Mozza was the lunch deals. With Monaco being known for its high prices we though the deals they had seemed too good to pass up. The deal included a glass of wine each, a salad buffet and the choice of main. We selected the Milanese and it was huge! We payed £32 which was very reasonable considering the portion sizes.

Moshi Moshi

This sushi restaurant was located in the other port (port de Fontvieille). With signature cocktails, great service and some of the best sushi I have ever had you can't go wrong.

Both restaurants are created by Riccardo Giruadi so we can only assume his other restaurants are just as good and worth checking out!
